Additional lightweight wireless fence receiver collars are available for families with more than 1 dog or as replacement collars should you lose one. Extra wireless fence transmitters are available to allow you to increase your containment area, as are power inverters that allow you to plug the system into a car, truck or SUV power outlet.

The PIF-300 PetSafe Wireless Instant Fence works best in yards that are relatively flat. The system will not work well if a drop-off or steep slope is a part of the contained area. Please give careful consideration to whether the PetSafe Wireless Dog Fence is appropriate for your yard before placing an order.

This system offers the largest wireless dog fence area available, PLUS you can add on! The signal field is adjustable from a 15 to 90 foot radius from the transmitter (30 to 180 foot diameter). The shape of the signal is in a perfect circle - the shape cannot be altered. The range of the PetSafe Instant Fence can be increased by using two or more transmitters. This creates multiple intersecting circles; two instant fence transmitters would create a boundary in a shape similar to the MasterCard™ logo, a figure 8. The signal covers the area where the circles intersect, allowing the pet access to the entire area. The PetSafe Instant fence transmitters can be located a maximum of 150 feet apart and each PetSafe instant fence transmitter must be out of the weather; they cannot get wet. An additional wireless dog fence transmitter will create a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide and up to 230 feet long.

Additional Accessories and Extra Transmitters

• Buy an extra PetSafe wireless fence transmitter to extend your area by overlapping the circular field each transmitter puts out.
• Buy an extra collar for each of as many dogs as you want.
• Buy a power inverter and use a 12volt supply such as a cigarette lighter to power your system.
